Ardbeg Corryvreckan takes its name from the famous whirlpool that lies to the north of Islay. This is where the Viking prince Breacan anchored his ship for three days and nights to win the hand of the daughter of the Lord of the Isles – yet was lost to its watery depths. A legendary whisky. But like the whirlpool itself, not for the fainthearted.

Taste description

The first plunge is deep, peppery, and chewy with crispy seaweed. A mouthful of espresso coffee that coats the palate with rich melted dark fruits (black currants, blueberries, and cherries) and star anise.
